What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Brand Hydraulics?
Perform first article and last part submission from the mill, lathe, secondary and tool and die departments. Maintain quality checks to all production machines when necessary. Appropriately route parts through any additional processes that may be necessary. Assist in working with all departments to maintain quality processes are being adhered to. Assist in inspecting all incoming parts / cast iron from vendors to ensure that they meet the required specifications. Assist in working with outside vendors when needed to assure quality is maintained when processing product for Brand Hydraulics. Assist in receiving materials / products into the computer business system as required. Assist in receiving returned goods authorizations into the computer business system. Assist in creating and updating inspection sheets as necessary. Assists in maintaining the calibration master index. Assists in performing calibration / verification of equipment used for the inspection, measuring or testing of products. Enter daily transactions in the computer business system of nonconforming product from the machine shop / production departments. Assist in maintaining quality records for the quality control department as required. Knowledge of ISO Quality Management very beneficial. Knowledge of calipers, micrometers and blue prints required. Must be computer literate.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
