What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Director, Walmart position at Brandshare?
Brandshare is an omnichannel sampling and promotions agency that creates brand experiences through targeted product sampling solutions including e-commerce, venue- and request- based sampling, experiential activations, and customer experience programs including subscription boxes and loyalty bags. Leveraging digital education and innovations to accelerate the path to purchase, Brandshare engages consumers across multiple touchpoints during the buyer’s journey. Our retailer and brand partners include household names such as P&G, Unilever, L’Oreal, Mars Wrigley, Walmart, Macy’s and more.
Brandshare is seeking an experienced and driven sales leader to build on the success of the sampling partnerships the company has built with Walmart . The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of successful sales experience working in the Walmart ecosystem and will have relationships with Walmart beauty and baby brand as well as the CPG shopper marketing agency teams. With your broad and long-standing client-side and agency relationships, consultative approach, and expertise in storytelling, you will act as a strategic partner to your assigned clients and sell Walmart sampling solutions that will ensure that their business goals are met.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders at leading and National CPGs, Indie and Niche brands, Agency partners, as well as Walmart’s category managers
- Manage all aspects of the sales process including selling Walmart sampling solutions to existing brands and mining for new brand partners within the Walmart baby and beauty space
- Create strategic proposals that support brand participation in Walmart sampling programs
- Partner with Brandshare Customer Experience leaders to offers a sales POV that will guide programming recommendations, pricing strategy, etc. to ensure annual goals are met
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets for the Beauty Box and Baby Box programs
- Weekly and accurate forecasting, reporting and planning against goals utilizing Salesforce
- Represent Brandshare as one of the company’s key external evangelists
- Negotiate with brands to maximize ad revenue, profitability and other critical Walmart & Brandshare KPIs
- Understand the unique needs and objectives of Walmart for the Beauty Box and Baby Box programs
Qualifications
- Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field required
- 5-10 years of successful business development, and sales preferably in the CPG/Beauty/Baby industries
- Skills
- Experience working with Walmart and large CPG partners preferred
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding renewal goals and margins
- Demonstrated success at fostering new accounts and growing repeat business
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, phone, and email
- Strong time management, budgeting and problem solving skills
- Strategic mindset and deep understanding of Walmart and working with Walmart brands/agencies
- Emotional intelligence, positive attitude, enthusiasm, sense of urgency, high energy, attention to detail, strong follow through & sense of humor!
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline driven, hands-on, rapidly changing environment
- Ability/willingness to travel domestically

Salary Range: $100,000 commission
