Supervisory Responsibilities
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and escorting them to a treatment room
- Creating accurate medical records through proper intake and follow-up procedures
- Handing off the patient Chief Complaint and relevant information to the doctor
- Escorting patients to the check-out counter
- Assist in getting the route slip from the doctor to the check-out counter
- Clean and stock treatment rooms
- Dispense DME items to patients at doctor’s direction
- Order and fit Custom DME
- Receive supply orders and verify those orders for accuracy
- Competent medical documentation
- Competent use and understanding of EMH
- Clean and sterilize instruments using the autoclave
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Some college or professional training in medical field (Nice to Have)
- 1 years total work experience (Required)
- Previous experience in a medical field (Nice to Have)
- Previous experience in Podiatry or Medical Assisting (Nice to Have)
Physical Requirements
- Sitting, standing, and stooping
- Ability to lift 15-25 pounds
- Ability to use step-ladder as required
