Position Summary: Responsible to complete the ability to repay reviews on all portfolio loans. Complete internal appraisal reviews, declines and withdrawals on all real estate loan products.
Essential Functions

Deliver excellent customer service to bank personnel and customers

Responsible for completing full ability to repay review of portfolio real estate loan products

Input proper loan information into the system for appropriate calculations of DTI/Rate/ LTV

Input FHLB grant applications and complete all duties as submitter of the applications, including communicating updates to loan officers and processors where applicable

Meet all crucial deadlines

Complete loan approval changes as requested by loan officers, processors, etc. and ensure accurate pricing on loans

Analyze applicants' financial status, personal and business financial statements, credit, and property details to ensure loan qualifications are met. Communicate with lenders on missing or insufficient documentation

Communicate documentation requests with lenders and perform follow up to ensure requested documentation is received in a timely manner

Maintain confidentiality and security of applicant/borrower information and data at all times

Ability to multi task and prioritize critical projects to ensure completion

Make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness of position

Provide support to department to include preparing weekly and monthly reports on loan status, maintain training records in system and participate in pertinent meetings to ensure knowledge, skills and abilities are maintained and up to date

Perform other duties as assigned and support all areas of the Bank and its subsidiaries

Complete all withdrawal / decline requests to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines

Complete internal appraisal reviews and communicate with appraisers for updates when needed

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the mortgage lending industry

Technical skills with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
