Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Food Runner. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the hospitality industry and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate table in a timely manner
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure accurate and efficient service
- Use the Toast POS system to process orders and track table assignments
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure all food items are prepared and presented correctly
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any guest inquiries or concerns
Experience:
- 2 years Fine Dining
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures is a must
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests
- Basic knowledge of culinary terminology and food preparation techniques is beneficial
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $2.13 - $7.25 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
Shift:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
Weekly day range:
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Commute:
- New Orleans, LA 70130 (Required)
Ability to Relocate:
- New Orleans, LA 70130: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
