We are experiencing tremendous growth and are looking to capitalize on the momentum by adding a Facility Custodian to our Maintenance Department!!

Job Summary: The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our facility and the surrounding grounds. Primary duties include cleaning floors, sanitizing restroom facilities and other work areas, collecting trash, etc. to ensure the building’s occupants have a clean, and safe workplace.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Keep all floors clean by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming.
• Service, clean, and restock restrooms multiple times as needed during shift.
• Gather and empty trash throughout the facility.
• Clean windows, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
• Dust and polish furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors as needed.
• Steam-clean or shampoo carpets as needed.
• Follow procedures to mix water and detergents or chemicals in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications and to prevent damage to furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Notify managers and/or maintenance concerning the need for major repairs or needs regarding building and grounds.
• Request the requisition of supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Remove snow from sidewalks or parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, or snow shovels, or spread ice melt.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent (required)
• Manufacturing experience (preferred)

Licensure/Certifications: None

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to reach, stretch, bend, kneel, and during daily routine, with the ability to stand and walk for long lengths of time.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
