Job Summary:A Maintenance Technician II is responsible for the installation and removal of manufacturing equipment as well as executing preventative and corrective maintenance programs. Serving a key role in the continual improvement and development of the department overall, they are expected to serve as both mentor and role model for level I technicians.

Ability to read technical drawings and schematics (electrical & hydraulic)
Generate and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance, parts used.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, valve bodies, oils, etc.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with manufacturing equipment, hydraulic systems, conveyors, materials handling systems, etc.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Perform mold changes of presses as required.
Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Ability to primarily work alone or in a team environment.
Able to be on call as needed.
Great attendance & punctuality
Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Work with and delegate duties on large projects to contractors, Level I technicians
Education and Experience:
Highschool diploma or equivalent (Required)
Manufacturing experience (Required)
5-10 years Industrial Maintenance experience and the ability to perform at that level (Required)
2 years of experience performing maintenance in a plastic processing facility (Preferred)
2 years’ experience working with automated equipment (Preferred)
3 years’ experience with work order management (Preferred)
HVAC & Boiler System Experience (Preferred)
Requirements:
Must be able to reach, stretch, bend, kneel, climb, twist, during daily routine, with the ability to stand and walk for long lengths of time.
Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing over 50 pounds.
Must have a valid Driver’s License
