About the Role
In order to achieve its ambition of serving 40,000 Fellows over the next decade, Braven must grow their shared-value partnerships with universities, employers, and philanthropists. In that effort, Braven is hiring an External Affairs Operations Coordinator who will provide constituent management support for the 10-person External Affairs Team of Directors as well as streamline cross-functional External Affairs operations. This person will help drive the quality of our external affairs operational systems and data tracking so that we can maximize our daily operations as an External Affairs team.
What You’ll Do
Support External Affairs Directors and Chief External Affairs Officer (70%)
Assist External Affairs Directors with scheduling and data entry so that they can spend their time in the field, with key stakeholders, developing strategy, and with their team and not on logistics.
Cross-Functional External Affairs Campaign Operations (30%):

Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position, which depends on prior work experience and our assessment of your demonstrated fit for the role, will likely be between $40,500 - $50,600 for Atlanta, $42,600 - $53,200 for Chicago, and $46,000 - $57,500 for New York and Newark. Braven offers competitive base salaries based on the midpoint of the market among not-for-profit organizations of similar size, with opportunities for salary growth over time. We believe in compensating staff members fairly in relation to each other, their qualifications, and their impact on behalf of the organization, and take internal and external equity seriously. Given our commitment to equity, Braven does not negotiate salary offers; instead each salary offer is determined carefully using external and internal benchmarking. You will have an opportunity to discuss salary in more detail after you begin the application process. In addition, this is a non-exempt, full-time, benefits eligible role.

Location
When social distancing is not in place, we gather in the office three days a week. Therefore, we require teammates to live within commuting distance of one of our hubs: Chicago, New York City, Newark, or Atlanta. Each teammate can use two flex days per week of their choosing to work remotely. We believe in the magic, connection, and collaboration that happens when people work together face-to-face and we believe in giving people flexibility to focus, balance personal priorities, and save themselves two commutes per week.
