Job Responsibilities
- Performs installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrade activities for PC systems
- Troubleshoots and repair PC system failures or problems
- Participates as technical resource in cross-team troubleshooting efforts
- Participate in the evaluation, selection and installation of new hardware products and operating system versions
- Create knowledgebase articles and ensures that documentation is kept up to date and reflects all changes
- Interacts with the on-site service desk staff to ensure that support services delivered to staff are provided in a timely manner
- Responsible for the efficient operation and management of PC systems
- Performs system/file backup and recovery.
- Incumbent will be responsible for meeting Company's commitment to compliance
Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; AND 3-5 years of computer or customer support related experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting networks, integrated systems, and desktop hardware
- ITIL certification
- Windows10, Office365, Bomgar, Active Directory, and ServiceNow experience preferred
- Understanding of the web-related terminologies and software such as web applications, web related protocols, service-oriented architectures, and web services
- Ability to work under pressure and in stressful situations
- Ability to communicate and report incidents and issues to the leadership
