What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative position at Bray & Oakley Insurance Agency, Inc.?
An Insurance Customer Service Representative will perform as support personnel to insurance agents and account managers for commercial (business) insurance. Managing the needs of insurance clients requires confidentiality and the ability to develop trust and rapport with customers, therefore this individual must hold strong ethical values and integrity.
Customer Services Representatives duties include:
- Exhibiting proper telephone etiquette
- Excellent listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to understand & communicate both orally and written.
- Maintaining a cordial and professional relationship with clients and co-workers
- Process email and mail correspondence.
- Ability to use computer programs, including by not limited to, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Agency Management system.
- Maintain and update files in agency management system
- Serve customers through inbound and outbound calls
- Receive and process policy changes, handle billing issues, and policy inquiries
- Aid and support insurance agents and account managers to effectively achieve business goals of the agency.
- Complete insurance training necessary to perform job duties and obtain insurance license.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
