What are the responsibilities and job description for the PM Dishwasher position at Brazos Tacos?
Position: Dishwasher
Reports To: Kitchen Manager
Purpose: To ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the dishwashing machine to clean dishes, glassware, and utensils
- Sort and stack cleaned items in appropriate storage areas
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area
- Follow all safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Communicate any equipment or supply needs to the Kitchen Manager
- Other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager or head chef
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to work well in a team
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, and move around a kitchen environment
