What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Personal Fitness Trainer/Instructor position at Brazos Valley MMA & Fitness?
We are currently looking for CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINERS to join our team!
Our Fitness Coaches will coach set classes, as well as lead individual/group personal training! Your duties will include (but are not limited to) evaluating a client’s needs and goals, designing, delivering, and adjusting workouts, and instructing new clients on how to safely and properly use equipment.
The part-time hours for our classes are guaranteed, but you will also have the opportunity to coach personal training clients - it’s up to you to take the initiative, so the more hours you want, the more clients you book! Our Fitness Coaches receive a full 60% of our personal training session fees, so you could be making up to $39 an hour. This is an amazing opportunity for a go-getter with a passion for fitness and helping others. We are looking for individuals to join our team who have great organizational and communication skills, who are extroverted, and who will above all prioritize helping our clients achieve their goals.
We do NOT schedule personal training clients for you. You can work around your own preferred schedule (outside of regularly scheduled class times), and it will be up to you how many clients you take on and how many hours you work. We need someone who can work as part of our team, but who has the drive and initiative to schedule clients on your own!
Our Fitness Coaches will also need to be available to coach our RAZRFIT classes in addition to any personal training sessions you may book. RAZRFIT is our strength/conditioning program that compliments the BVMMA jiu-jitsu and kickboxing programs. Our program director combines a CrossFit background with bodybuilding and strength programming to keep the members interested and engaged daily!

A passion for health, fitness, and bringing out the best in people!
