Job Summary: the Operations Director of our ABA Clinic is responsible for overseeing and
managing all aspects of clinic operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality services to
our clients and their families. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating
administrative tasks, implementing policies and procedures, and maintaining compliance
with regulatory requirements.
Leadership and Supervision:
- Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to clinic staff, including behavior technicians, administrative personnel, and other support staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development opportunities for staff members.
Administrative Management:
- Oversee day-to-day administrative functions, including scheduling, billing, accounts payable, programs, HR, IT, communication, and client intake processes.
- Develop and implement efficient systems and procedures to streamline clinic operations and improve workflow.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and standards of care to maintain highquality service delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical programs and services, implementing improvements as needed.
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
- Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards related to ABA services.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including documentation, licensure, and certification.
- Identify potential risks and liabilities related to clinic operations and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures to protect the wellbeing of clients and staff.
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and standards of care to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of clinical programs and services, implementing improvements as needed.
Financial Management:
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage clinic budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Identify opportunities for cost containment, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
- Aid with strategic planning for annual changes in payor reimbursement rates.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Foster effective communication and collaboration among clinic staff, interdisciplinary teams, clients, and families.
- Serve as a liaison with external stakeholders, including insurance providers, referral sources, and community partners.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and liabilities related to clinic operations and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and emergency procedures to protect the well-being of clients and staff.
Cross-Departmental Process Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to assess and improve operational processes across all departments within the clinic.
- Ensuring that workflows and procedures are efficient, effective, and seamlessly integrated.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify areas for improvement, streamline interdepartmental communication, and implement best practices that enhance overall clinic performance and client satisfaction.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Experience with CentralReach is preferred
- Experience with Asana is preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, ABA, healthcare management, psychology, or related field.
- Experience working in healthcare administration, preferably in an ABA clinic or similar behavioral health setting.
- Experience with CentralReach is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of ABA principles and practices, including familiarity with relevant assessment tools and intervention techniques.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Perform other related duties, assignments, and projects assigned by Leadership.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards in healthcare.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to stand and sit for an extended period of time.
