Overview
The Commercial Route to Market Sales Analyst produces reports, interprets data, and provides recommendations on areas of opportunities for a diversified, complex, and high-profile sales divisions to key decision-makers. The position supports the Commercial Strategy team in optimizing how we support our customers and our Route-to-Market.
Salary and Benefit Statement:
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.
- Compensation package range: $60,000 - $70,000
- This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company’s 401(k) plan.
Responsibilities
Complete complex data analysis projects to support a variety of initiatives using PowerBI, SAP WebIntelligence and
advanced Excel skills. Able to build analytic selling story in PowerPoint.
Research and anticipate analytical needs of our sales teams including competitor analysis, strategy support, and GAP analysis.
- Identify market growth, innovation, and competitive opportunities to drive market share, revenue, and profit through analytics.
- Develop, execute, and analyze customer surveys to understand any gaps and to inform sales and service needs
Execute uniformity and standardization on how we measure our performance with our sales divisions, utilizing analytics &
insights as the focal point of the conversation.
Uncover sales opportunities from a mixture of internal, syndicated, and other industry relevant data to deliver
recommendations and actionable solutions.
- Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance, marketing, or business analyst role
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Match Functions
- Strong proficiency with Power Point and other Microsoft Office tools
- Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Analytic and Reporting skills
- Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a consumer-packaged goods company or data provider (IRI, Nielson)
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
