Overview
The Commercial Application Support Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day support of the SAP ERP system, with a focus on Sales & Distribution/Order to Cash, Pricing and interfaces to other Sales & Commercial applications. This person will act as a subject matter expert, assisting end users, peers and external vendors to help manage enhancements and provide support across all Breakthru Beverage locations.
This position operates in a hybrid capacity and can be based from the following Breakthru office locations - Phoenix, AZ - Las Vegas, NV - Linthicum, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Document and communicate requirements as generated by IT peers or users to effectively manage the development and support that meet high levels of quality, security and performance.
- Effectively troubleshoot and provide resolutions to end-users related issues as a level 2 support resource across all the company
Effectively document design and development work in line with change management procedures
- Assists IT peers and users to solve problems or develop enhancements
Analyze existing software programs and procedures, recommends additional programming methods and/or routines to improve efficiency.
Perform basic configuration and set up to facilitate new functionality
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of total experience in implementing and supporting an ERP system
- Demonstrated ability to support and implement high availability software solutions
- 2 years implementing and supporting systems that support in a highly automated and cross platform ERP environment
- Strong business acumen including an understanding of Sales & Distribution, Order to Cash and Pricing in a highly automated environment
- 3 years of full project lifecycle management including requirements gathering, writing functional specs, developing prototypes, data mapping, functional testing, user acceptance testing, documentation and training.
- Strong ability to analyze complex problems within the applications and the ability to work with other areas to isolate and resolve the problems to avoid future occurrences
Preferred:
- Experience in Wholesale distribution industry preferred
