Construction Manager

Construction Manager Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee a multi-unit construction project. The Construction Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Construction management experience as well as strong communication and leadership skills are highly valued.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects from start to finish
- Develop project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project specifications are met
- Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work quality and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise
- Manage project permitting and documentation, including municipal and utility applications
- Provide regular updates to senior management regarding project status, budget, and timeline

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Familiarity with construction estimating, review, and scheduling software
- Experience in project scheduling using tools such as Microsoft Project
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Solid understanding of blueprint review and interpretation
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions

-Experience with production home building is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
