JOB SUMMARY:
The Returns Collections Analyst is responsible for collections including but not limited to processing returns claims, analyzing, dispute claims and collecting unauthorized payment deductions for all expired product returns. This role is part of the returns processing team and works closely with our return’s processor (InMar/ Qualanex) to ensure returns are processed accurately and in a timely manner by and determining whether to process or deny credits based on several criteria like company’s returns goods policies or other related customer contracts/ agreements as well as other communications.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform review of the customers returns claims and credits issued, dispute and collection of unauthorized and over deductions taken by customers related to returns credits issued.
Review reports on Returns dashboard on timely basis for issues that may impede the processing of Return Authorizations.
Collaborate with returns processor(s) concerning matters directly related to expired returns and recalls including pricing, return goods policies and other miscellaneous issues that arise.
Running ad hoc analysis reports to investigate product return discrepancies.
Interacts with a wide range of internal and external business partners (third party facilities, customers).
Assist in audits of internal processes.
Work with Accounts Receivable Coordinators to update the Customer accounts and A/R reports as needed.
Review current processes and identify potential process improvements.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
2 years of experience in generic pharmaceuticals industry collections and dispute resolution
Bachelor’s Degree
Advanced MS Excel knowledge (vlookups, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
SAP experience a plus
Open communicator, inquisitive, detail-oriented, and not afraid to challenge.
