Maintenance Supervisor

Immediate Opening:  Hands-on Maintenance Supervisor 

This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the overall operation and maintenance of building, equipment, and grounds. Maintain compliance with all procedures, policies, and regulations and ensure timely response to regulatory issues and inspection findings. Incumbent functions with a minimum amount of supervision. BRECOflex CO., L.L.C. is an ISO 9001 certified company. This role is responsible for learning, understanding, and demonstrating ISO 9001 standards through daily work activities.

Skills and Experience:

·         3-5 years’ experience in facilities management and maintenance of buildings, property, and equipment including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and troubleshooting control systems

·         Hands on experience with preventative maintenance and machine repair for industrial automation equipment, required

·         Valid driver’s license, required

·         Demonstrated ability to coordinate maintenance and service contracts

·         Proficiency with a facilities management/work order software, Hippo CMMS a plus

·         Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferred

·         Solid understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, building repair and HVAC

·         Professional written and spoken communications skills

·         Time and project management skills

·         Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus

Job Functions:

·         Maintenance and facility

o   Planning and scheduling reactive and preventive maintenance activities of production equipment using Hippo CMMS

o   Performing hands-on maintenance work

o   Conducting root cause analysis for tooling, stocking, and parts machining; defining and executing action plans

o   Inspecting, recording, and reporting abnormal building and property conditions

o   Aligning maintenance and facility activities with specifications and regulatory requirements

o   Negotiating contracts with vendors, maintaining vendor relationships, managing corrective maintenance for each vendor, and reviewing completion of work and payment

o   Planning and organizing inventory of spare parts and purchasing supplies, equipment and services for production equipment and the facility

·         Supervising maintenance staff

o   Identifying and addressing performance/behavior issues (e.g. not following safety standards; purposefully not following processes or underperforming; damaging tooling/equipment/facility)

o   Managing employee time/schedules (ADP)

o   Preparing employee performance reviews

·         Maintaining OSHA compliance 300/300A logs in partnership with HR

·         Following ISO 9001, 5S, and Lean manufacturing procedures

·         Promoting a culture of cleanliness and order

·         Reporting metrics and maintenance data to the Plant Manager on a recurring basis

·         Participating in developing A3 activities with the Plant Manager to achieve established goals

·         Other duties as assigned

Physical/Environmental:

·         Must be able to lift 75 lbs. to waist height.

·         Standing all day (90% of shift) with ability to move about the manufacturing area

·         Manual dexterity

·         Hand eye coordination

·         Manufacturing Environment, inclusive of wide temperature swings
