Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team in the pimary Dallas county area (South Dallas). As an LVN, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Perform tube feeding and ensure proper nutrition for patients
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Assist in wound care, including suture removal and dressing changes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (Cerner)
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
Qualifications:
- Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of [State]
- Previous experience in assisted living, ER, or behavioral health settings is preferred
- Proficient in specimen collection processing and laboratory procedures
