YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary:
The Key Accounts Executive is a highly visible role responsible for the management of assigned Key Accounts within Brenntag North America including the continuous achievement of sales and profit growth targets. This role will take ownership to develop, execute, and manage sales and profit growth budgets and strategies for assigned key customers including sales of all Brenntag products and other services to all customer business units throughout North America. This role is also responsible for providing leadership to local managers and sellers to ensure Key Account strategies and service levels are consistent.
Job Description:

Develops, manages, and executes Brenntag North America’s Key Accounts program strategies, strategic account business development plans, and customer budgets in alignment with growth targets and long-term goals. Monitors customer sales, profit, and volume performance against budget, investigates variances and implements correct action(s).

Focuses on pro-active sell price and margin management, opportunity pipeline development and management with high closure rates, proactive customer retention and new business development, selling Brenntag’s full product portfolio, services, and capabilities.

Builds in-depth, comprehensive customer relationships to influence achieving growth objectives and increase share.
- Actively engages in sales calls, strategic meetings, and presentations with existing and prospective Key Accounts.

Networks across the organization to reduce complexity for the customer, ensure customer satisfaction, and effectively and efficiently develop and provide solutions.

Manages Request for Quotes (RFQs) and develops and implements RFQ strategies that increase success rate and ensure profitability goals and expectations are met.
In coordination with Legal and other Brenntag management, negotiates commercial terms, contracts, and rebates commensurate with customer commitments to Brenntag. -
Negotiates payment terms consistent with company strategy and working capital targets. Collaborates with Credit and
- Finance to support and influence payment within approved terms by our Key Accounts.

Provides regular communication, direction, and guidance throughout the Brenntag organization regarding Key Accounts pricing approach, strategies, contract development, producer partner programs, RFQs, terms, etc. to ensure a coherent and consistent product and service offering is implemented at all customer locations.

Implements and supports Key Account processes and tools that drive productivity, efficiencies and continuous improvement

Ensures compliance with all company policies and all regulatory agencies, including but not limited to: Brenntag Code of
- Business Conduct & Ethics, Antitrust Compliance Policy, Confidentiality Agreement, DOL, EEOC etc.

Supports the vision and mission of the company.

YOUR PROFILE
Education and Experience:

Minimum of 7 years of outside sales, key account, business development, or commercial management experience in a B2B matrix organization and/or in the chemical distribution industry

Management experience preferred
