  • Primary responsibility for the safety and occupational health of all Brenntag Northeast employees.
  • Coordinate, implement, and train on all safety and health programs and requirements.
  • Develop, deploy and track all training with respect to operational and safety procedures.
  • Lead the BEST safety committee and warehouse safety committee.
  • Conduct work site assessments to determine risks and identify needed controls mitigate hazards.
  • Collaborate with other departments in regulatory matters and support all BNA policies and initiatives.
  • Assist HR Department with Workers Compensation and accident/injury claims.
  • Perform safety and compliance reviews at all facilities.
  • Oversee compliance with product labeling and OSHA HazCom requirements for packaged product.
  • Assist in completing customer quality/safety questionnaires.
  • Conduct emergency response drills (evacuation, etc.).
  • Review near misses for trends and implement corrective actions.
  • Other duties as assigned
