Financial Analyst

We are recruiting for a Financial Analyst at our Corporate Office located in Bethel Park.
Summary of Basic Function:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for performing high quality and accurate financial reporting and analysis such as annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasting, and their respective variance analysis, and participate in the bank’s Asset and Liability Management. This position will have an active role in leading the bank’s data driven financial analytics and will be responsible for converting data into actionable insights that align with the Bank’s strategic initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilize robust BI tools to provide real-time insights into what is happening within the financial aspect of the business.
- Thoroughly understand drivers of current reporting including but not limited to the systems from which the data is extracted.
- Lead the efforts to complete the annual operating plan; disaggregated budgeting, and total roll up; ensuring plan meets targets set by senior leadership
- Develop and maintain reporting tools and analysis to enable real time analytics and financial performance management.
- Identify key drivers and insights by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions to manager.
- Preparation and analysis of periodic forecasts, annual budgets, and management reporting of financial results.
- Develop deep understanding of the business and its operational and financial data flows as well as thorough knowledge of databases, tables and filed usage.
- Participate in monthly board reporting efforts
- Maintain the banks rolling forecasting including modeling various scenarios
- Work with the management on the bank’s Asset Liability Management initiatives; product offering, pricing, capital management
- Maintain financial models that provide useful insights to help drive strategic initiatives
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with all Bank departments to ensure quality and consistency in the accounting service offering.
- Represent and promote favorable image and uphold the Bank reputation through involvement in community activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent experience
- One to three years of experience in a financial analyst role
- Demonstrated superior customer service, high-level analytical and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management/prioritization skills
- Strong ability to communicate financial results effectively and efficiently to management
- Physical Requirements: ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, prolonged frequent use of hands to manipulate/grasp objects, ability to communicate face to face and on the phone with clients, must be able to communicate verbally and listen carefully through a telephone system; occasional bending and lifting from floor height, frequent forward reach, frequent lifting of 1-10lbs, minimal lifting of up to 30lbs, ability to see and read fine print.
- This position may require evening and Saturday work hours. You may be required to travel between branches or off-site travel for training.
