What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Manager position at Brentwood Home?
We are a busy professional couple with three fun and active boys in middle and elementary school and a dog. We have recently relocated to Brentwood, TN and are looking for a House Manager. Starting compensation for the position will be $50-55K per year with opportunities for bonuses and raises based on performance.
Key roles of the House Manager will include:
· Coordinating the boys schedule: Taking and picking up from school, after school activities and kids social events. (All travel with the children will leverage the family car and gas will be paid by the family.)
· Meal preparation: Purchasing of ingredients and preparation of meals for the family for the week. Family will provide desired recipes and weekly budget.
· Household management: Managing deliveries and coordinating with potential vendors, ensuring the house if tidy and in order, purchasing groceries and other necessities, taking care of the dog, preparation for social events
· Occasional Overnights: Both parents at times need to travel for work, hence the ability to occasionally do overnights would be required
Key attributes and experience we are looking for:
· 3 years of experience and references in childcare and household management
· Punctual and organized
· Calm and adaptable to handle changing schedules
· Self-starter that is able to take initiative
· Professional and discreet. We value our privacy and, if hired, candidate will be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
