A prestigious healthcare system is searching for a PCU Registered Nurse for one of its hospitals in Orange Park Florida. In this role, you will be an essential member of the patient care team and responsible for the delivery of direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. You will assess, plan, treat, and evaluate nursing care for patients within the PCU and work collaboratively with other healthcare team members. Responsibilities:
- Manage efficient patient flow, including screening patients, preparing for exams, providing general nursing care, and arranging for testing.
- Educate patients and families about the care plan and care after discharge.
- Administer medications as instructed, monitor reactions, and document progress to desired results.
- Maintain and review patient records and charts, including tests and examination results.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Active RN License.
- Prior acute care RN experience is preferred.
