Position Purpose |
|
The Community Clinical Manager oversees and directs the day-to-day function of Assisted Living and Community Nursing in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines. The Community Clinical Manager is expected to provide leadership for Brewster Place to achieve its mission, vision and goals. |
|
Key Responsibilities/Duties |
|
Oversee and direct the day-to-day function of Assisted Living and Community Nursing. Ensures compliance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern Assisted Living and Community Nursing. |
|
Oversee the administration of medications, treatments, and services as prescribed by physician’s orders for Assisted Living. |
|
Documents and reports any unusual finding of the resident’s condition to the physician, family and Director of Community Clinical Services as condition warrants. Delegates tasks and assessments to appropriate licensed staff. Completes negotiated service agreements for required residents. |
|
Conducts formal and informal training for all staff as needed to provide support in working with residents with dementia, emotional and psychological problems, and medications/addictions issues. Conducts the interview process for new employees, complete performance appraisals and necessary counseling for staff members. |
|
Interpret unit policies and procedures to personnel, residents, visitors, and government agencies as required. |
|
Provide direction and guidance to the team in maintaining the Brewster Core Values. |
|
Incorporates principles and standards of CQI by participating in problem identification and solution focused task forces. |
|
