Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Assistant to join our team. As a Construction Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our construction team and ensure the smooth operation of our office. This is a crucial role that requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Duties:
- Perform general office duties such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and maintaining office supplies
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and filing documents
- Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and computerized
- Assist with data entry tasks and maintain databases
- Provide administrative support to the construction team as needed
- Assist with organizing and maintaining project documentation
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an office or administrative role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
- Previous experience as a personal assistant or in office management is a plus
