Job Posting for Horse Groom at Briardale Horse Farm

Seeking experienced professional with a background in horse care to help maintain the daily health and comfort of our horses. Ideal candidate has experience in running a business, customer service, and personal horse grooming. The successful candidate will be responsible for washing, drying, grooming and feeding our horses a minimum of four times a week. This is a full-time position with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain horse tack.
  • Feed and exercise horses.
  • Obtain relevant information from owner before grooming horse.
  • Apply hot oil treatments to horse's body.
  • Clean hooves and apply appropriate treatments to hooves.
  • Find the source of an unfamiliar sore on the horse and inform trainer of possible cause.(Job requires cleaning of tack and grooming of horses but not riding the horses.).
