What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Scientist position at BrickRed Systems?
We are looking for a Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision-making across our product analytics and engineering processes. You will play a critical role in managing product analytics, developing key performance metrics, and ensuring the seamless integration of data systems and tools within the factory workflow. Your insights will directly impact product quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all product analytics, including data collection, reporting, and interpretation.
- Use data insights to improve product quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in station greenlight and release planning.
- Provide data-driven recommendations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality and performance standards before release.
- Develop CPK and PPK process control monitors for each tester, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Track tester performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead the integration of test stations into factory workflows, optimizing production processes.
- Oversee yield and error reporting, providing insights to improve production efficiency.
- Manage the IPMR data vetting process to ensure data accuracy and seamless integration into systems for real-time decision-making.
- Develop CTx measurement mapping to track key performance indicators throughout the product lifecycle.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, manufacturing, or product engineering.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Top 3 Skills Required:
- Proven experience in data science and analytics, specifically in manufacturing or product engineering (5 years).
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools like JMP and Power BI (5 years).
- Strong expertise in statistical analysis, process control methodologies (CPK, PPK), and data integration tools.
