What are the responsibilities and job description for the Philanthropy Assistant position at Bridge House?
At Bridge House, we are on a mission to end homelessness one person at a time. We have created a movement with our award-winning, ‘Work Works’ model called ‘Ready to Work.’ We thrive in conditions most shy away from, as we are innovative, scrappy, and looking to impact communities coast to coast as we grow this amazing program. We help the underserved homeless population who can, and are willing to, work in order to gain success in their lives. This is accomplished through a three-legged stool approach: 1) employment in one of our own social enterprises, 2) housing and 3) support services. We serve up to 94 men and women in our two locations, Aurora and Boulder, and are looking forward to opening a third site in Englewood at the end of 2023. Join our team on our quest to expand this proven model across the US! We believe:
● There's nothing in the world that can stop us from creating opportunities to help people get a foothold, to overcome their challenges, and to go beyond all expectations.
● There's nothing in the world that can stop us from thinking of new creative, awesome solutions to change their future and the future of the community.
● There's nothing in the world that can make us think this is something too complicated to solve.
● There's nothing in the world that can stop us from getting our job done. Every day, for every person, because it's the right thing to do.
If you share our passion, enjoy working in a dynamic environment with a world-class team, and want to help us expand across the US, join us!
