CLINICAL SPECIALIST
The traveling Wellness Specialist is responsible for filling Director of Wellness vacancies to oversee and coordinate the care and services of Residents, promote the effective utilization and monitoring of health care resources, and lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve desired clinical, emotional and wellness outcomes in accordance with federal, state, local, company standards and established policies and procedures. As an acting Wellness Director, the Wellness Specialist ensures Quality Delivery of Resident care through the promotion of systems utilizing Quality Improvement Practices. The Specialist is responsible, as directed by the Executive Director, for providing input into the budget and monitoring its effective implementation through regular reporting and monitoring of resources. The Specialist develops staff plans which effectively recruit, allocate, retain, develop and mentors’ staff to established standards of performance while building a strong rapport with those we serve and their families. The ultimate goal of quality Resident care is to enable each Resident, where possible, to function at the highest level, to attain a stage of independence, or to at least prevent regression. An active approach to Resident care will be taken and not just passive maintenance. Must reside in the PA or OH area.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will implement and coordinate the delivery of care in collaboration with physicians and care associates. You will be responsible for the high level of care our residents are accustomed to, including making frequent rounds, ensuring continuity of care, documenting all pertinent care information, and observing our residents’ overall condition and behavior. Above all, you will exhibit a passion for serving seniors and contributing to the positive environment our residents are proud to call home.
  • Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) for the best care of our residents
  • Smile and Show Love, especially in trying times
  • Provide health and wellness checks to our residents on a regular basis
  • Assist the Resident Services Director in the development and update of individual service plans for each resident
  • Maintain ongoing communication with residents, their families, and their physicians regarding their needs
  • State LPN in good standing
