Architect DevSecOps Agile Delivery Framework solutions by assembling leading DevSecOps practices for application and infrastructure services from development through to production to achieve business outcomes.
Assess the DevSecOps maturity of the organization and coach the organization to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the organization.
Seek to understand current state challenges across development and operational teams, identifying the key roles to support DevSecOps delivery methods, and makes sure IT professionals are trained and empowered to make those changes.
Create and maintain a strategic plan for implementing the DevSecOps vision. Assess risk, analyze costs and benefits, set operational plans and forecast future innovation needs to create a timeline. Consult on leadership decisions from a workflow management perspective then develop a plan for carrying out those goals across departments.
Comfortable working at all levels (team, stakeholder, and organizational leadership) to help the organization use DevSecOps as a strategic asset for culture change and business value generation.
Establish and support a federated responsibility model to empower and reward secure development and testing.
Improve DevSecOps tools and processes with an emphasis on self-service, automation, performance, and scalability.
Champion a shift left culture to ensure company data is safe and secure, integrating security measures with software processes.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other security practitioners to share trends and insight that will improve results of software development projects, services, and products.
Track how team members communicate through back-end software tools to identify solutions for workflow issues.
Bring a customer centric lens to quality, standards and automation in an agile and Cloud based ecosystem.
Ensure that standards and principles are adhered to and communicated to other stakeholders including customers, peers, and senior leadership.
Evaluate team performance and create development plans to improve the team. Identify the skill gaps and creating intuitive systems for training team members to fill those gaps.
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in DevSecOps best practices such as Security embedded CI/CD pipelines, SDLC Engineering Practices, and Agile Methodologies.
Knowledge of Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Automation, and Configuration as Code.
Skilled in team leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, transparency, active listening and showing general interest through empathy.
Ability to think strategically and evaluate changes that may be required to improve a business process.
Ability to translate and present complex technical concerns across technical and non-technical groups.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, business administration, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 15 years experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product, or project management
Minimum of 9 years leadership experience managing others in IT delivery, building, and sustaining high performing teams.
Minimum of 5 years experience managing DevSecOps responsibilities for organization(s), diligently applying DevSecOps principles, practices, and theory.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or related field
In-depth Cloud and Cloud Service Provider (CSP) knowledge (AWS, GCP and/or Azure).
Experience working with SAP or other ERP packages
Experience supporting manufacturing processes or retail environments
Experience supporting a global organization
Bachelor's degree ; 10 years of relevant experience including 7 years management or leadership experience
Or Master's degree; 8 years of relevant experience including 5-7 years management or leadership experience
