The division in Greensboro, NC includes: Furniture Today, Casual Living, Designers Today, Gifts & Decorative Accessories, Home Accents Today, Home Furnishings News and Home Textiles Today.
We are looking for an experienced conference and events manager to plan and execute all aspects of our 12 plus home furnishings events.
The events manager will follow event timelines and develop plans and checklists for all assigned events. This position will be responsible for generating event awareness, nominations and ticket sales. Responsibilities also include event marketing and managing a budget.
Qualified candidates should have strong collaboration skills across all levels of the organization, experience providing excellent customer service, the ability to multitask, with the ability to work independently and well with a team while managing multiple deadlines, has strong written and verbal skills and can adapt easily in a fast paced environment. Creativity is very important. Excellent computer skills are a must and experience with database management and the ability to learn programs specific to our operation is key to your success.
