As our Business Development Director, you will be the hands-on leader responsible for establishing and expanding new commercial revenue streams derived from a wide array of strategic vendor partner relationships and third party administrators that provide value add capabilities to Bridgeway's industry leading software solutions. The Business Development Director reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and works closely with the CEO, CFO, and other members of the Executive and Senior Leadership team.

This position is remote eligible, with overnight travel up to 30%. East Coast candidates strongly preferred.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the company's existing third-party vendor relationships to identify and accelerate revenue generation from these sources within the existing customer base.
  • Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities that translates as a value add to our customers between the Bridgeway solutions and our third-party vendor products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams of Sales & Marketing, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Engineering to optimize our delivery of third-party products and services to increase speed to customer value and revenue.
  • Leads TPA client relationships to develop and execute growth strategies.
  • Establish clearly defined goals for each partner relationship, and update and maintain proper reporting metrics and funnel management.
  • Perform quarterly partner reviews (QBRs) of established goals.
  • Oversee co-marketing campaigns, including the production of collateral.
  • Be accountable for sourced and influenced revenue, partner success KPIs, and retention and integration adoption.
  • Collaborate with Executive leadership to develop new Go to Market strategies, joint marketing/sales strategies, and financial forecasting associated with market diversification efforts and additional third-party ecosystem expansion.

Requirements:

  • 10 years' new business/channel partner sales experience in a competitive SaaS sales environment; healthcare payer industry experience is a strong plus
  • Hunter DNA with strong ambition, sense of urgency, confidence, perseverance, resilience, and desire to influence others
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles with a collaborative approach
  • Strong communication skills with proven ability to prepare and conduct winning sales presentations at all levels (C-Suite to end users)
  • Self-driven motivator who takes initiative in achieving assigned sales goals
  • A team player who desires working in a collaborative, cross-functional and fast-paced environment, with a strong desire to work together with colleagues across company
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or similar discipline
  • Experience in the Medical Benefits Administration industry highly preferred
