BridgeWorks is looking for an experienced LAB TECHNICIAN to join our team! Please read the description and requirements below:
A. PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Analyze designated lines; AA analysis as scheduled – Daily; Sample collection from lines – Daily
- Wet Analysis of plating tanks, cleaners, acids and topcoats – Daily; Entering of Analysis data into Zinc-It – Daily
- Monitor SPC Charts and report as trend data as needed.
- Calibrate pH meters as scheduled; Complete scheduled Maintenance requests on time.
- Analyze Other RMF Facility’s samples as needed.
- Refill any titrant containers, DI water, etc. Audit Buffers, Reagents at Conestee and McDougal.
- Prepare Chemical Dump Sheet / Add Sheet on Friday. Enter any weekend Chemical Adds or tank dumps.
- Chemical Inventory required for Lab 1 and 2
- Give Chemical Handler daily adds and work with him as needed.
- Verification of autofeed pumps and data entry into Zinc-It – Daily/Weekly
- Other duties as they arise and are specified primarily concerning lab work and plant operation - Daily
- Audit Buffers, Reagents to ensure in date and not expired.
- Chemical Inventory required for Lab, Waste Treatment and Process chemicals.
Education
- High School
Experience:
- 3 Years Laboratory Experience
Knowledge and skills:
- Computer skills, conversion from US to metric systems
