Server/Waiter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and contributing to a positive atmosphere in our establishment. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, while providing recommendations and upselling menu items.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests with dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing cash registers.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special requests from guests.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
• Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper handling and sanitation procedures.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables and managing overall restaurant appearance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.90 - $12.12 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
