Mental Health Therapist/Counselor - Brighter Future Health
$500 sign on Bonus

Brighter Future Health is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our clinical team and organization. We currently have two locations, serving both Ada and Canyon Counties. Our company serves people of all ages, but our primary needs are with children and families.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Master's Degree
- Must be licensed in the state of Idaho (LMSW, LCSW, LPC LCPC, LMFT)
- Required to pass a background check
Skills
- Proficient in data collection, documentation, and reporting procedures
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and their application in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices in a mental health setting
- Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Ability to provide clinical counseling using evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Strong crisis intervention skills to effectively manage high-stress situations
- Experience in providing care for individuals with PTSD or other trauma-related disorders
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred
- Strong case management skills, including coordinating services and resources for patients
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide a comfortable, safe, and trusting environment for clientele and families
- Maintain confidentiality of documentation/files in both written and verbal communications
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health disorders
- Conduct crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
- Monitor and document patient progress and behavior
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive change
- Utilize behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Provide clinical counseling and support to patients and their families
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, reviews, and session notes within specified timeframes
- Effectively collaborate with team members, clients, treatment providers and placement agencies, and keep documented records of all communications
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and professional code of ethics
- Be open to occasionally work with clients from different cultural backgrounds and possibly interpreters
- Proficient ability to navigate Electronic Health Records system
- Be willing to prepare and provide a CEU for other staff members of Brighter Future Health
- Be open to working at our quiet Nampa location one day a week
