Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Understand and map client requests to existing capabilities of Clarus
- Prioritize configuration paths based on risk to project
- Participate in technical configuration of the platform to meet client needs
- Leverage technical data management skillset to make best practice design decisions
- Drive client acceptance to agree solution conclusively meets their business need
- Ensure configuration is verified, correct, and solves the problem articulated by the client
- Own solution documents based on client discovery and knowledge of the platform
- Listen, comprehend, and ensure documentation of any feature gaps are translated into business needs including Clarus features and integrations to external systems
- Complete training and handoff to success organization
- For new customers, describe, define, and gain client acceptance of all imminent post-launch activities. Hand-off to account management for future potential projects that aren’t immediately post-launch
Estimated breakdown of responsibilities:
- 40% - Lead client configuration, discovery, and demonstration
- 40% - coordination with internal teams for handoff and clarity of launch needs. Also includes running scrum ceremonies for grooming of configuration needs
- 20% - Miscellaneous tasks related to coordination of projects and new client launches
Skills
- Ability to learn and fully understand a complex software system quickly and adapt it to client needs
- Discovery of client needs through questions, documentation, and listening skills
- Creative problem solving to understand and implement solutions
- Leadership of clients to help align their understanding and requests with the product
- Strong communication and technical demonstration skills
- Self-aware and knowledgeable of when to ask for help or escalate issues
Experience:
- Seasoned IT or Business professional with a minimum of 2-3 years of business analysis, configuration, or related experience;
- Preferred: 2 or more years experience in a software or technology-related context(s)
- Bachelor degree in a Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or other STEM discipline or equivalent technical work experience required
- Experience with requirements elicitation, requirements documentation, and requirements management
- Experience with agile methodology and practices
- Product owner certification preferred
- Direct customer interface experience (working with client directly on project tasks; managing client expectations)
