We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks
- Work closely with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities to provide behavioral support
- Collect and record data on individual progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavior
- Manage challenging behaviors effectively and with empathy
- Maintain accurate medical documentation as required
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Skills:
- Proficiency in assisting with ADLs
- Experience working with individuals with autism
- Skilled in patient care and behavioral management
- Ability to collect and analyze data effectively
