Assistant Teacher Job description

Hourly Base Rate PLUS $3.00/hour Bonus Pay And $1000 Sign-on Bonus ( Selected Centers) FREE CHILDCARE

Our Assistant Teachers at Brightside Academy inspire children to be great. We are looking for enthusiastic early childcare educators to join our team!!! The primary focus of the Assistant Teacher (Toddler) is the provision of high-quality programming within their assigned classroom which must include a triangulated framework of family-centered practices; developmentally, individually, and culturally appropriate practices and intentional teaching; and program support.

The Assistant Teacher must have the following requirements:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma
  • Some college preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year experience as an Assistant Teacher in an early childhood setting.
  • CDA License preferred (if not we can sponsor)
  • CPL - II Or Higher

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $14.25 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
  • Signing bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cleveland, OH 44120: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 years (Required)
  • Childcare: 1 years (Required)
