LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse

• Morning & NOCS (7 am -7 am) (7pm-7am)
• 4 hours of overtime gurenteed with each shift worked
• One-on-one nursing care in the safety of a nice home RN or LVN

Adult Home Care Shift Nurse

Come work for BrightStar Care, a company that believes in serving with passion and doing the right thing. We are currently looking for a qualified Licensed Vocational Nurse in the Sacramento area. The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year of paid LVN or RN experience, home health a plus.

This position is part of a 24/7 private-duty nursing case. We are seeking LVNs that can work either 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (day shift) and 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. (NOC SHIFT) . This is an AWAKE SHIFT position and sleeping is prohibited while on duty.

Responsibilities of the LVNs- Licensed Vocational Nurse:

• Perform skilled patient care per the plan of care under supervision of RN
• Support Activities of Daily Living and IADLs
• Assure proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with all applicable laws
• Fluid communication with office staff and clinical team
• Timely processing of all clinical documentation
• Consistency of attendance
• Ability to follow all state regulations

Here's what we require of LVNs: LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse

• Passion for one-on-one patient care in the home setting
• Minimum of 3 years of paid RN/LVN experience. Home health experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• G-tube care/maintenance
• Tracheotomy management and care
• Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) with full patient care required
• Current unrestricted RN or LVN license in CA
• Current CPR and TB skin test
• Valid ID and Social Security Card
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
• Ability to clock in and out on a Smartphone
• Ability to work in the Galt, CA,/ Sacramento Pocket/Greenhaven area
• Ability to work (NOC SHIFT) Preferred
• Ability to stay alert (AWAKE SHIFT)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.00 - $29.25 per hour
