Title: Parent-Child Assistance Program Case Manager
Group: G_Apprentice
Supervised by: Program Manager
Location: Skagit
Starting Wage: $19.00
Purpose: Deliver services and complete tasks of high complexity. Responsible for implementing strategies that will increase the likelihood of successful outcomes directly related to their work. May be responsible for orientation and guidance regarding the work of others, excellent communication and prioritization skills, role clarity, and self-initiation. Requires moderate to high cooperation skills, both internal and external.
The Parent-Child Assistance Program (PCAP) is a home visitation case management intervention for high-risk mothers who have used alcohol and/or drugs during pregnancy.
Primary responsibilities (as outlined in the PCAP contract and job description) include, but are not limited to:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree 1 year of community-based experience working with high-risk populations required. Ability to conduct interviews covering extremely sensitive and confidential information, strong organizational and time management skills required. Experience working with individuals with substance abuse issues is preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license.
