Job Description
Primarily responsible for designing and managing enterprise data management frameworks, interpreting business requirements into technical requirements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to optimize data utilization.
Document and drive data management strategy across all Brink’s regions, ensuring that data is managed efficiently and securely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design enterprise data management frameworks aligned with business processes
- Design and manage centralized, end to end data architecture solutions for data model designs, meta data definitions and standards, implementation and management of data lake(s) and data warehouse(s) and generate data analytics
- Identifying data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management that is aligned with organizational data strategy
- Ensuring data security and compliance with applicable regulations, including access restrictions, and privacy laws such as GDPR for personal information in EU
- Design and implement data management processes that includes data ingestion, transformation, organization and storage as well as any standards definition
- Define key performance indicators to measure data quality and reliability
- Build data models to visualize relationships between difference data entities
- Defining and managing the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organization
- Understand the business objectives and processes, and be able to translate complex data concepts into terms that business teams can understand
- Coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data system
- Data base management and design
- Data modeling and design
- Meta data management
- Proficiency in SQL
- Leverage technology such as Snowflake, Informatica to improve data management processes, and improve data quality, implement common data management and reporting systems such as PowerBI
- Nice to have: Data oriented certification with AWS, Azure or GCP
- Proven work experience as a Data Architect for 5-8 years
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles
- Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
- Expertise with data modeling tools
- Expertise in SQL, Informatica, Snowflake, AWS systems to design and manage data processes
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI
