Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Work in sites to drive out cost through process improvements and documented standard work instructions.
• Designs, redesigns, or enhances work areas and layouts with respect for ergonomics and waste elimination.
• Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods, and trends and developments in technology and equipment
• Works in conjunction with our Lean Team to improve process flow.
• Develops and maintains management information, planning, and control systems.
• Implements methods and modifications to reduce production costs.
• Performs time studies to level load the manufacturing process.
• Implements PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis) mindset and process for our operations.
• Works across the organization to solve problems related to process outputs.
• Develops, implements, and communicates best practices.
• Familiar with problem solving methods, such as DMAIC, A3, 5-Why etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be versed in problem solving and constraint management.
