Job Summary
The primary purpose of your job position is to provide your assigned residents with routine daily assisted living care in accordance with our mission statement, established procedures, with the Positive Approach to Care Model and as may be directed by your supervisors. Such care will be delivered with an emphasis on the value of providing quality customer service to all residents, family members, team members, volunteers, visitors, and other service professionals.

Position Qualifications
- Must have 6 months of experience in direct caregiver role or equivalent training in caregiving offered by the facility-REQUIRED.
- Experience of caregiving in an assisted living, skilled nursing, or long term care setting is preferred.
- Must be able to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 50 lbs. Anything heavier than 50 lbs. must require assistance or assistive equipment for task to be performed safely.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must take and pass facility designated medication assistance training.
- Must be courteous and professional in personal interactions with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agency representatives and public.
- Must be willing to build rapport with all residents using patience, intentional and appropriate pacing, cueing and neutral positive regard.
