Job Summary :
The primary purpose of the Dining Server is to create an enjoyable dining experience for Cedars residents and their guests.
All duties will be performed with an emphasis on the value of providing quality customer service to all residents, family members, co-workers, volunteers, visitors, and other service professionals in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.
Skills and Knowledge
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language and follow written and oral instructions.
- Demonstrated understanding of psychosocial problems of aging.
- Demonstrates respect, sensitivity and flexibility.
- Function independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with older adults, personnel, and support organizations

Required Qualifications :
- Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older
- Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Must be comfortable entering orders electronically
- Must be available to work 3 shifts per week.
