Position Summary
The IT Quality Systems Intern supports activities for Veeva electronic Document Management System (EDMS) & Quality Risk Management (QRM) system (part of Veeva Vault - Quality Suite). In the role, the Intern is primarily responsible for assisting the application lead in supporting the Veeva Vault - Quality Suite platform. This may include, supporting platform updates, enhancements and/or end-user support & access management activities.
Key Responsibilities
The incumbent also supports activities of the IT Quality Systems, including but not limited to:
- Supporting systems analysis, design, and configuration to meet requirements, analyzing, and developing system integrations
- Support unit/system/site acceptance testing efforts
- Supporting IT Change and release management activities for
- Supporting activities related to internal and Health Authority audits.
- Supporting investigations to identify the root cause of non-conformance and implement corrective actions
- Supporting improvement projects for Management system and related process governance.
- Support revision to governance procedures
Qualifications & Experience
- Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems field
- Desire to learn about GxP Regulations, Good Documentation and Data Integrity requirements in the biopharmaceutical industry
- Proficient computer skills, including use of productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and collaborate with business partners.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to assess and interpret data to draw sound conclusions.
- Ability to work on a team to accomplish tasks and receive feedback
