ACCOUNTANT POSITION SUMMARY:
The CFO Services Accountant is responsible for providing outsourced accounting solutions for a variety of clients. This includes processing accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll, as well as coding transactions and running financial reports. The Accountant will need to balance demands of multiple clients and will often work directly at client sites.
The CFO Services Accountant is responsible for providing outsourced accounting solutions for a variety of clients. This includes processing accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll, as well as coding transactions and running financial reports. The Accountant will need to balance demands of multiple clients and will often work directly at client sites.
ACCOUNTANT ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manages the AP process including, vendor management, invoice entry, payment processing
- Manages AR including timely and accurate invoicing, cash application, collections
- Monitors cash position and future cash requirements
- Maintains the chart of accounts and all general ledger activities
- Completes month-end accounting close with account reconciliations and financial statement reporting
- Completes budget vs. actual variance analysis
- Performs all client payroll activities
- Reviews historical information and other research items when processing and completing work assignments
- Works productively with minimal oversight as well as an ability to work from remote, client, and in-office work locations as needed
- Problem-solves and works with client staff members to find missing data and work through issues.
- Meets or exceeds annual chargeable hours goal
- Performs other duties as assigned
ACCOUNTANT QUALIFICATIONS:
- Reside in the Columbus, Ohio Metro Area
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- Advanced computer literacy, including proficient use of all Microsoft Office products, QuickBooks, and Intacct
- Valid Driver’s license and/or access to transportation to various client locations, up to 1 hour from the home office location
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple client engagements
- Proven interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with both internal and external team members, as well as external client relationships
