Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Initiation:
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Conduct project feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
- Project Execution and Monitoring:
- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and allocate resources, ensuring their availability and utilization.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
- Implement project management best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Budgeting and Cost Management:
- Develop project budgets, track expenditures, and manage financial resources.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project spending.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and forecasts.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Communicate project objectives, progress, and outcomes effectively.
- Address stakeholder concerns and manage expectations.
- Facilitate decision-making processes and resolve conflicts as they arise.
- Quality Assurance and Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential issues.
- Perform regular project assessments and audits to ensure compliance.
- Project Closure and Evaluation:
- Coordinate project closure activities, including documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports, including performance metrics and outcomes.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on complex projects.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time, within budget, and meeting objectives.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and system integration.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
