Job Description:

Symantec's endpoint security products protect enterprises from damaging threats. As a Symantec product manager, you will continually increase value to customers from Symantec's Endpoint security products, and deliver better security outcomes for our customers

Responsibilities

• Showcase our strengths in threat research, protection and investigation
• Design experiments to drive greater mindshare, measure the success of these experiments, and ultimately find the best method to drive mindshare
• Discover customer needs thoughtfully and by asking the right questions. Guide engineering to build software that matters, and deprioritize software that does not matter

Preferred Qualifications

• A strong understanding of endpoint security and cyber security industry
• A high level understanding of customer 'jobs to be done' among key personas such as : CISO, IT admin, SoC, Security engineer, compliance
• Strong desire to take ownership of the full product life cycle
• Drive to design something new, innovative, and disruptive
• Hands-on nature with very strong interest in new technology products
• Drive high efficiency software building using automation (e.g. scripting, ML), reuse of existing engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years in product management or technical expertise in the security space required
• Communicate crisply in verbal and written medium
