Job Description:
Brochsteins is looking for a qualified CNC Operator who enjoys the challenge of working on custom projects that push the limits millwork manufacturing. This person must be a critical thinker and be interested in learning new software and manufacturing processes that turn architectural drawings into products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine nested products to 5 axis products and everything in-between.
- Effectively communicate with other departments to reduce mistakes and improve quality.
- Problem-solving skills in order to detect issues in the creation process and find solutions to ensure the machinery creates the product provided in the draft.
- Daily, weekly, monthly maintenance of CNC to ensure proper functionality.
- And other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Ability to analyze the information provided on architectural drawings or other explanatory documents to make sure the final product matches the draft.
- Able to work under tight time restraints and deadlines and be personable, even under pressure.
- Attention to detail and persistence in follow up.
- 1-2 years relevant experience.
- Ability to multitask and maintain comprehension of various projects.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling.
- Strong math skills for inputting specific dimensions and figures into the CNC machinery
- Strong computer skills to control machinery
- Expert experience using Windows 10, Microsoft Office.
- Ability to adapt and learn new software and interfaces
- Experience with 2D and 3D digital drawings
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
